Adult Care Home Reimbursement Rates for Special Care Units Effective Oct 1, 2007.
All HIPAA-covered healthcare providers must apply for and be issued a National Provider Identifier (NPI) by May 23, 2007. After this date, all claims submitted to Medicaid must be billed with your NPI instead of your current Medicaid provider number. Beginning September 1, 2006, the NC Medicaid Program began collecting NPIs from currently enrolled Medicaid providers.
