Regional Director of Health Services for NC and VA (4-14-08) top

We are seeking an experienced regional nurse to become our Regional Director of Health Services for NC and VA. This position will oversee the clinical operations for our assisted living communities in these states.

The ideal candidate will have multi-site experience in the assisted living industry and must provide clinical leadership and support to nurse management within the communities. In addition, the candidate must be a compassionate and caring individual with the ability to travel, handle multiple priorities, work flexible hours, and motivate staff.

Resident Care Director, Greensboro , NC (4-16-08) top

Loyalton of Greensboro is seeking a Resident Care Director (RCD). This position will coordinate and supervise personnel in the Wellness Department in accordance with residents’ needs, state regulations, and Emeritus policies and procedures. This position will also maintain excellent services, high occupancy, and meet community financial goals; as well as supervise and train Wellness staff regarding care policies, procedures, and the Wellness program.

Duties will include directing and coordinating overall resident care plans from move-in to discharge, performing licensed nurse tasks, implementing and maintaining an accurate wellness record for each resident, and interacting with the residents’ physicians, pharmacists, and other medical personnel. The RCD will also supervise the storage, distribution, administering, and discontinuation of residents’ medications; schedule staff hours; and manage administrative duties.

This is a full-time position with some weekends. Availability by phone or pager 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is required.

This position will provide administrative assistance to the Executive Director/Administrator, be responsible for financial reports, answer telephones, and coordinate resident requests and concerns. This position is also responsible for day shift front door security, monitoring of the emergency response panels, and responding to emergency calls after phone verification of need. In addition, candidates must be familiar with office equipment such as copier, fax machine, computer, typewriter, communication equipment, and all other equipment deemed necessary in the daily performance of their duties. The Business Office Manager must complete all bookkeeping functions, i.e., payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable, take messages, make appointments, greet visitors, distribute mail, and all other functions necessary.
